With the Launch of GeForce Now on Microsoft Edge, Xbox Users Will Be Able to Play PC Games on Their Console
Nvidia is unlocking the GeForce Now streaming service on Microsoft Edge on the 25th of October, which will allow Xbox owners to play PC games on their consoles.
With GeForce Now including access to more than 1,000 PC games and the Xbox consoles shipping with the Edge browser continue thinning the console exclusivity walls that Microsoft has been intending on crumbling.
Even better, the Edge browser on the Xbox supports mouse and keyboard input, which allows the user to play games that don't even have gamepad support or aren't meant to be played with one, like DOTA 2 and League of Legends.
It isn't the most ideal experience yet, since the virtual keyboard appears whenever you click and the latency still isn't great for multiplayer games. However, it is a great alternative for the time being while the xCloud service arrives.
