Wizard Wars Open Beta Announced

From Paradox Interactive and Paradox North comes the announcement that this month Open Beta access for wayward wizard online competitive multi-player game Magicka: Wizard Wars on May the 27th. Currently on Steam Early Access, Magicka: Wizard Wars will be playable for free by those with an admirable lack of self-preservation instinct when the title enters its Open Beta phase.

Magicka: Wizard Wars pits two teams of four wizards each can go head-to-head in intense player-versus-player action, utilizing the celebrated spellcasting system of Magicka and combining elements to generate chaotic results. Players can also hone their skills against each other in a one-on-one duel mode, cheating like monkeys in order to be the last pointy hat standing. With short battles, skill-based spellcasting, and buckets of humor, Magicka: Wizard Wars presents a new way to experience the chaos of Magicka with friends and foes alike.

All that is missing is a cat called Mister, a dog called Mouse, and a talking skull called Bob.
