World War Z's Upcoming The Walking Dead DLC Got a Reveal Trailer

Developed and published by Saber Interactive Inc., World War Z is a third-person shooter set in a zombie apocalypse that can be played with up to three others. We've got a review for it if you'd like to know more about this 2021 title!

Recently, the team revealed the upcoming DLC campaign: a crossover campaign with AMC's The Walking Dead franchise! Players can look forward to three story chapters, which feature iconic characters and locations from the franchise, including Rick Grimes, Michonne, Daryl Dixon, and Negan. Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, who play Rick and Daryl in the show, respectively, will be voicing their characters!

Players will also experience the Prison, the Grady Memorial Hospital, and even Alexandria throughout the story! But they might not have time to sit back and enjoy the scenery, as new versions of World War Z's infamous Zeke swarms take inspiration from The Walking Dead's Walkers.

Here's everything you can expect from World War Z x The Walking Dead DLC:

• A crossover campaign set in AMC's The Walking Dead.
• Three new story chapters.
• Four playable iconic characters: Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and Negan.
• Two new melee weapons: Negan's barbed bat (known as Lucille to fans) and Michonne's katanas.
• Two weapon skins: Rick's Revolver and Daryl's Crossbow.
• Locations from the show: The Prison, Alexandria, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
• A new type of Zekes: Spiked Walkers.

The CEO and co-founder of Saber Interactive, Matthew Karch, had the following to say,
