Yet Another Update to Moonstone Island is Coming: Character Customisation! Check Out the Trailer

Moonstone Island is a creature-collecting life simulator set in an open world that offers 100 islands to explore, various NPCs to befriend and romance, and much more! If you'd like to learn all about it, you can find our review here.

Despite being released back on the 20th of September 2023, the title has continued to receive a lot of love via free updates as well as some paid DLC. It seems like Studio Supersoft and Raw Fury are always cooking something new to invite players back to the game!

This time around, it's all about customising the main character. While the playable avatar used to be bound to its original look (which is cute in and of itself), with white hair and blue clothing, players can look forward to breaking out of that!

Thanks to the love and support Moonstone Island has received, said the developer on a Steam post, the team has been able to work on adding hair, outfits, and skin colours, each with their custom art and animation!

In addition to the new customisation, they've also "snuck some new features into the update". While we don't get information about what it is yet, the team promised more details in future patch notes.

What we do know is that the update is free, it adds character customisation, and it will be live and ready on the 18th of September. This is a great time to pick the title up! Moonstone Island is available now on Steam.
