YouTube Launches Dedicated Gaming Site
After being beaten to the purchase of Twitch by Amazon, Google has now launched its own service to compete with the streaming giant.
YouTube Gaming will feature pages for over 25,000 games and dedicated channels from a wide array of game publishers and YouTube creators.
Features include quick access to your favourite games, notifications when subscribed channels being streaming and smarter recommendations for new games and channels.
Content creators will be able to stream at 60fps and have streams automatically convert into a YouTube video.
YouTube Gaming will launch this summer for the U.S. and UK. For regular updates, follow YouTube Gaming at their official Twitter account.

Won't be long before they make something to rival Plays.tv, which is only young itself.

The real difference here though, is that YouTube has the backbone to support this. Twitch still seems to be a bit... "twitchy" at times.
