ZOTAC Announce VR-Ready Mini PC
If you’re in need of a lot of power from your PC but you’re limited for space the ZOTAC may have a solution for you. The newly announced Magnus EN980 is a fully powered, VR ready gaming PC, housed in a box small enough for even the most cramped desktop.
Appearances can be deceptive. Looking at this tiny Zbox form factor PC would suggest a low powered unit, but with liquid cooling, a Skylake Processor and a GTX 980 in tow, this is a machine that would make light work of even the most demanding games on the market at the moment.
The machine supports up to 4 displays via HDMI or displayport or indeed the all important VR headsets. It comes with USB 3.1 in the form of the super small, reversible type-C port so no more inserting cables upside down. Networking is taken care of in the form of AC wireless and dual Gigabit LAN ports.
The full specs for the system include:
- CPU: Intel 6th generation Skylake Core i5
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
- Ports: HDMI, USB 3.1type-c and DP
- - Specially designed liquid-cooling system
- - Engineered housing for greater natural heat dissipation
The unit will be shown off at the upcoming Cebit 2016 and GDC 2016 in March. You can’t order one yet, but you will be able to later this month when the computer begins shipping
