Screenshot of Potential PS5 UI Leaks Online

A solitary screenshot has recently been uploaded online to SlashLeaks, with the uploader claiming that it is the first image we have seen of the PlayStation 5 UI.

It bears some resemblance to the current PlayStation 4 interface, with the same large square icons organised horizontally. However, what is new are the vertical categories, splitting Games, Apps, TV & Video in the image, provided below.

Of course, it is highly likely that this is simply a fake image. Rumours and speculation is just something that we have to come used to so close to a new console generation; so far there has been fake boot up sequences uploaded to YouTube, leaked specs detailing 24GB of memory, and potential titles in development, e.g. Uncharted.

Earlier this year, a reputable leaker on Twitter potentially revealed the pre-order details for Sony's next home console.

Sony is widely expected to fully reveal the PlayStation at an event before the end of March 2020. The console is scheduled to launch before Christmas 2020.
