GameGrin Replaces Management with AI in Big-Brain Power Move
This last year in the videogame industry has been a wild ride, as AI generation creeps into development. In a long line of companies laying off employees in favour of "restructuring" the business, it's become more and more apparent that they are favouring cutting down on the wages management pays out.
Deciding to break the norm, GameGrin has taken a different approach.
In the latest investor™ meeting, GameGrin announced that the staff was, in fact, laying off the management. This big-brain move saved the company millions*, removing the hefty CEO bonuses that the company was paying.

It all started when management was talking about a restructuring of the business, and that the team would be saving millions* with the “restructuring”, bringing hefty bonuses and a healthier ecosystem. This was, however, when a staff member got up from their chair, epic anime music started playing, and they pulled out an Uno reverse card.
“No, the staff fires YOU” — a heroic staff member.
Investors cried in joy. There was a standing ovation. People among the crowd fainted at the money that the company would be saving.
GameGrin staff had this to say about the matter:

we don't have another one, sorry
"I'm so proud to be working here." — David Smith, accounting.
"It brought a tear to my eye." — Unnamed digital janitor.
"Wait, I'm getting laid off!?" — Artura Dawn, human resource manager (2026–2026).
"Suck it, tech bros!" — David Smith, accounting.
GameGrin hopes to be an inspiration to all, and that the videogame industry stops it with this sloppification. It’s unclear what GrinAI (LLM model undefined) will do with its new power, but the team is hopeful to move forward to a brighter, plagiarism-free future.

last one, we promise
