Summer Game Fest 2026

Description
Released to arcades in 1989 and to the Famicom and PC Engine in 1990, this Japanese-exclusive Taito game has a number of similarities to the company's earlier platform game Bubble Bobble but is not related to that series (although Don, the main character, has guested in later games within it). Like the more famous games it draws inspiration from, it is a single-screen platform title with optional co-op. Its cartoon styling and fairytale music won the hearts of Japanese players, but a western localisation for the home market was never made. The Arcade title was localised, but not widely distributed so cabinets are rarely seen these days.
