QPAD Omnibeam Stream RGB Mic Pro Review
As someone who spends a lot of time recording podcasts and voiceovers, I'm always curious to check out new microphones. Cue the QPAD Omnibeam Stream RGB Mic Pro!
The mic feels sturdy with a metal and plastic build, and it comes bundled with a mount complete with a steady, non-slip base. It's also flexible enough to fit most standard boom arms, and it’s not too heavy for it either. On the practical side, there’s a gain dial on the top, along with a responsive mute button, and controls on the front for picking your polar pattern, plus a USB-C port and headphone jack for live monitoring.

Its technical specs include a 50Hz—20kHz frequency range and a 24-bit bit rate, making it suitable for live streaming, podcasts, or any content creation needs. It supports various recording methods — cardioid, bidirectional, omnidirectional, and stereo — to adapt to different situations.
In my experience, the Omnibeam produced clean, crisp audio and handled background noise gracefully. Even at low gain settings, my voice came through clearly. A neat touch is that adjusting the gain will change the colour of the RGB, giving you a nice visual indication from green to red.

The warmth and clarity of this mic are definite highlights. Compared to others I’ve used, the Omnibeam stands out for its minimal background noise and straightforward setup, allowing me to get started quickly and focus on my work.
Overall, the QPAD Omnibeam Stream RGB Mic Pro is an excellent option for creators who care about both audio quality and aesthetics. I’ve used it for voice acting, to conduct meetings, and to record podcasts, all with excellent results.
