Academia: School Simulator - Full Release Date Revealed

Launched into Steam Early Access in September 2017, developer Squeaky Wheel's first self-published game Academia : School Simulator will release in its finished state in January 2021. The news comes alongside an all-new announcement trailer, which you can find above.

The full release will add more in-game events, achievements and endgame content; it'll also see a new difficulty level, improvements to the user experience and general polish.

Letting players design, manage and control their own school (much in the vein of Prison Architect), Academia: School Simulator is the game for anyone who's eager to test out their ideas for improving the schooling system. Of course, there's nothing stopping you from making your school a living nightmare either. As the developer itself presents it, you can fill your school with "terrific teachers and fantastic facilities or simply let your students poop in the bushes?"

The choice, we're pleased (and slightly worried) to say is yours!
