Animal Crossing: New Horizons to Receive Mario-Themed Content

Nintendo announced in today's Nintendo Direct stream that, as a continuation of last year's 35th anniversary Mario celebrations, an array of Super Mario-themed content would be coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the 25th February.

The items, which will come part as a free update, include a Super Mushroom, Question Block, Coin, usable warp-pipe, "Level Clear" Flag and various outfits based on iconic Mario characters. Want to dress your villager up like Wario? We don't blame you, and when the update releases later this month, you'll be able to!

The Super Mario update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will release for free on the 25th February.
