Animal Shelter Spooky Update Available

The fluffy-filled title, Animal Shelter, just got a spooky update for players to really get into the Halloween spirit! This isn't new, either, as last year, the developer also made an effort to give the community something to come back to and enjoy! But don't worry if you were here last year or if you weren't — the old decorations will be returning and new ones have been added, giving everyone something fun and spooky to decorate with!

That being said, fans of spooktober can look forward to the following:

• New clothes for pupils.
• A change in the atmosphere and the sky.
• Gargoyles will now appear at the main entrance to the shelter as well as the stable from the Horse DLC.
• New wall decorations for some of the buildings (Vet DLC).
• And even more decor for the Horse DLC and others!

In the post, a few pictures depict some of the items, including an adorable ghost, a "Trick or Treat" cauldron, and a spooky lamp, among others. Games Incubator, the developer, also mentions how the items won't disappear after the limited-time event if they're placed down!

If you haven't heard of the game, you can always check out our two reviews, one for the base game and one for the recently released Vet DLC, which adds new buildings and the ability to look over for and heal animals! The gist is that players will work at an animal shelter and take care of all sorts of four-legged fur friends, both old and young! Bring them in, help them stay safe at your shelter while you find them a family, and then watch them head off to their happy ending.
