Apex Legends Announces the Astral Anomaly Event with New Trailer

Respawn and Electronic Arts have announced the Astral Anomaly event for their successful battle royale title, Apex Legends. As the game enjoys its Into the Rift season, we're getting a look at all-new events, including skins and modes for players to engage with.

For the latest update, Apex Legends is revisiting the past with old-school weapons, Legends, abilities, and rulesets, but the latest mode — LTM: Launch Royale — will take players to new maps. Partake in classic gameplay whilst also venturing into the Kings Canyon, World's Edge, Olympus, Storm Point, Broken Moon, and District, bringing a modern feel to the classic experience that Apex Legends is hoping to achieve.

Of course, that's not all. The Astral Anomaly Event is officially here, and players will be able to unlock milestone event items. There are 15 otherworldly limited-time cosmetics for players to pull from, giving them the chance to acquire some skins like Alter's Anarchonaut and Horizon's Dark Horizon skins, among many others! Each pack contains one event item and two standard items that you can acquire, and there are no duplicates of event items in the packs.

Finally, the Reward Shop will give players the opportunity to spend hard-earned Bytes that they can acquire by completing daily challenges. Check back to the Astral Anomaly Shop and redeem your rewards to get a slew of unique items for returning daily to complete your missions!
