ARK: Survival Evolved to be First Early Access PS4 Title

Studio Wildcard have announced that the Early Access title ARK: Survival Evolved and its full release DLC  ARK: Scorched Earth are going to be coming to PlayStation 4 next week!

Dubbed the ARK: Survivor’s Pack it marks the one year anniversary of ARK's arrival on Xbox One's Preview program. It is also the first game that is still in Early Access to be released on PlayStation 4 which does not have its own version of a "still in active development" label. The game is still scheduled for a full release, now on all three platforms, in Spring 2017, so it will be receiving the same updates across the board.

The bundle will be available for $54.99 USD in North American regions, or €49.99 in Europe. European survivors will also have the opportunity to pick up ARK: Survival Evolved as a standalone game for €34.99 and its Scorched Earth Expansion Pack for €19.99. Unfortunately, we were not able to release the content as two standalone items for the North American regions, until Spring 2017.

To sweeten the deal, PlayStation 4 owners will be getting exclusive skins - a Bionic Giganotosaurus skin plus an entire Manticore armor set for all male and female characters.

In case you don't know, ARK is an online multiplayer survival game which sees you awaken on an island full of dinosaurs with nothing but some loincloth and a gem embedded in your wrist. Learn to survive and make things, whilst taming dinosaurs -- or go to the drought-ridden desert world of the DLC to tame dragons!

Pick it up digitally from 6th December on PS4, or right now on Steam or the Xbox Marketplace.

I thought they were on hiatus with a legal dispute, apparently that didn't come to anything then.
