ASKA Releases Hearth & Honey Update for Steam Medieval Fest
Sand Sailor Studios, alongside publisher Thunderful Publishing, released ASKA to Steam Early Access on the 20th of June 2024. This Viking-era colony sim has players exploring the mythical open world while earning the god's favour.
As it currently stands, ASKA has missed its 2025 launch window set in the Early Access Game, but that doesn't mean that the team has abandoned the Viking experience. Instead, with the latest update, a brand-new form of farming, alongside various new buildings, has been introduced to the experience.
Titles Hearth & Honey, this latest update was released for the Steam Medieval Fest, bringing all sorts of changes. Most important to the update is the new brewery building, where players will be able to farm bees that'll produce honey.

Of course, the sweet honey nectar can only be used for one thing, in a Viking-focused title — mead! Farm bees to get honey, harvest it from the wild, and use it to create mead barrels that'll allow villagers to drink at the latest Tavern upgrade (tier 3).
It's a celebration for 600,000 players who have checked out the Early Access experience, and though drinking and mead are primary changes, that's not all that awaits in Hearth & Honey. The team also had some minor updates and additions to the experience.
First is settlement storage, which players will be able to interact with. Now, settlement leaders will be able to see all stored items, and their increase and decrease over time, all implemented with a graph interface that'll make keeping track of the outpost's resource production and consumption more intuitive. The final addition is focused on Hunters. Now, Hunters can delve into the mines, which will allow a chance to hunt for crawlers.
For those interested in the ASKA Hearth & Honey update, it's available now on Steam!
