Assassin's Creed and Divinity II Arrive on Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

This week Microsoft announced a further two titles added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility catalogue, in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Divinity II.

As per the usual drill, if you've still got your Xbox 360 disc, pop it in and your Xbox One will go off and download the latest version of the game for your pleasure. If you don't, you can purchase both on the Xbox Marketplace. Black Flag is available for the measly sum of £9.99 (£7.99 for Gold members), whereas Divinity II is up for £14.99 - no Gold discounts there.

Black Flag received a highly positive review from GameGrin upon release, set during the golden age of piracy in the 18th century. It certainly has much more content than a certain Sea of Thieves.

Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga, released a couple of years prior in 2011, sees you battle against various monsters - mostly dragons - in Larian Studios' RPG. The Dragon Knight Saga version features both the remastered Ego Draconis and Flames of Vengeance adventures.

These two new additions join Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which joined the catalogue late last week.
