Axel And Blaze Return In Streets of Rage 4

The iconic beat-em-up Streets of Rage is making its long awaited return after 1994's Streets of Rage 3 on the Genesis/Mega Drive.

The reveal trailer for Streets of Rage 4 showcases Axel and Blaze's return with stylishly hand-drawn artwork the folk behind 2017's Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap. It will apparently build upon the original series' mechanics whilst bringing a fresh story and an array of new stages to brawl your way through.

The game is being developed by Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games with Dotemu on publishing duties. No release date or information on what consoles the sequel will land have been given but we'll be sure to keep you informed as details emerge.
