Battlefield 2042's Update 5.1 Incoming

Battlefield 2042 is getting a new update next week on all platforms, focusing on quality-of-life improvements. The team have also announced that a new Seasonal Event has been confirmed for July.

The main additions coming in patch 5.1 include:

• Vault Weapon Attachments: two more weapons are receiving All-Out Warfare attachments, this time the M39 EMR and the SVD.
• Squad Spawning Improvements: players will now see a prompt when attempting to spawn on a vehicle showing if it is at low health. The ability to spawn on foot with the CAV-Brawler has also been restricted to prevent unnecessary player deaths.

Not much has been teased about the seasonal event, but it will focus on the mysterious Arkangel Legion and will include a collection of new earnable cosmetics.
