Bigben & Eko Software Reveal Gameplay Of Warhammer: Chaosbane

Fans of the Warhammer franchise have long wanted a hack-and-slash style ARPG, and they're finally getting it with Warhammer: Chaosbane. Showcasing a demo at Gamescom, developers Bigben and Eko Software introduced players to two of the four playable characters, melee specialist Konrad Vollen and mage Elontir.

These few minutes of gameplay illustrate the importance of cooperation between different classes that each offer their own mechanics and unique skills. The skills used in this video are just a preview of the 45 (yes, you read that right) skills each character will have available. Finally, bloodlust, a mechanic that is unique to Warhammer: Chaosbane is revealed. It's a devastating power that lets you access additional powerful skills for a short period of time that can change the outcome of a battle.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is currently under development and will be available for consoles and PC in 2019.
