Biggest Shake-up ever of RuneScape Coming This June
2017 will see the biggest changes to the RuneScape universe in the game’s 16-year history. Jagex is launching RuneScape Expansions, which is a series of free content updates, set to change the universe for all players of the MMORPG. RuneScape will see the first of those expansions arrive on the fifth of June in the form of Menaphos: The Golden City.
“RuneScape has always been underpinned with the telling of great stories and quests, and launching RuneScape Expansions – beginning with Menaphos: The Golden City – allows us to do that in an entirely new way,” said David Osborne, Lead Designer, RuneScape. “We’re working hard to ensure this gleaming metropolis eclipses the Menaphos that’s been in the imagination of our many millions of players for more than a decade, and we can’t wait to share more details over the coming weeks before the gates open.”

To those who are after some more information, the city of Menaphos will be like mid-level Prifddinas. A huge city (divided into quarters - though prif is divided much more) containing a grand exchange area, focussing mainly on mid-level skills/players.
