Blood Will be Spilt in Butcher, a 2D Tribute to Doom

Even prior to the glorious 2016 reboot, the Doom series has always been a popular one, with the original games having been ported to every system under the sun, even graphing calculators. Transhuman Design, (the studio behind King Arthur’s Gold and Soldat) certainly took influence from it, as their latest game, BUTCHER, is a blood-tinged love letter to the game.

You play as a cyborg set on a mission to destroy all humans by any means necessary. That means that chainsaws, shotguns, grenade launchers or anything else you can get your hands on will be used to splatter up to 4 million pixels of claret over the walls of the game world.

Butcher is set for release on the PS4 and Xbox One on the 9^th of May 2017.
