Borderlands 3 Continues its Series of Arms Race Mini-Events
We're approaching the end of the "Clear Skies" mini-event for Borderlands 3's roguelike-style Arms Race mode. If you want to get your hands on some high-end loot without worrying so much about that pesky storm, you've only got until the 28th January until the loot drop-rate falls back to normal and the storm once more returns to its normal rate of progression.
That is, of course, until the second mini-event which is set to launch immediately afterwards. "Extra Extra Extraction" will run from the 28th January - 4th February and will boost the amount of slots available for extraction, meaning more loot for you. Additionally, it will increase the drop-rate for DAHL chests.
If that wasn't enough, a third mini-event is set to launch following "Extra Extra Extraction". Mini-event number three, titled "Gear Rush", will run from the 4th February - 11th February and will see the Murdercane approach at a significantly increased rate. In exchange for that increased risk, rare chests will be more likely to drop and the green DAHL chests located in the Stormblind Complex's points-of-interest will drop Arms Race-exclusive gear at a much higher rate.
These mini-events are available to any Borderlands 3 players who own the Designer's Cut add-on or Season Pass 2. If that's you, well you may be reaching the end of the "Clear Skies" mini-event, but there are still two more weeks of action waiting for you. Get ready to lock, load and blast your way to those rare loot drops!
