Call of Duty: Warzone is Here with Two New Modes

Finally, Call of Duty: Warzone has been revealed to the world. This standalone game is free for all players as of Tuesday, 10th of March, available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Warzone isn't just a battle royale mode that most people assumed it would be. Instead, players will get a new battle royale mode and another mode called plunder.

Plunder mode will take place on the Verdansk map, and will have players fighting to collect in-game cash by looting from the map. Players carry the cash on them, so killing another player will earn you their cash. Small in-game missions will be available, where players can make more money by taking on these missions. How many players can play in this mode hasn't been released yet. Warzone is seen with several vehicles in the trailer including, ATVs, helicopters, and trucks.

Warzone's battle royale mode will take place on Verdansk as well, pitting 150 players against one another, featuring trio squads. Verdansk is a huge map ("300 points of interest." - Activision.)

Warzone will go live a few hours earlier for players who own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Players who do not own the game can still download Warzone but had to wait a few hours before its release.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone are available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
