Capcom Files New Trademark in Europe

Recently Capcom released a mobile card game based on their numerous iconic franchises titled Teppen. The release came as somewhat of a surprise, with no marketing or advertising prior to the games release. Now it seems like Capcom are yet again looking to surprise people, with a recent trademark for a project called “SHINSEKAI Into the Depths”.

Unfortunately, there’s no more specific information outside of the trademark being filed in Europe. This is odd, given the fact that Capcom are a Japanese studio natively. Given that the name of the project is unrelated to other Capcom franchises, it seems likely that this is a brand new IP from the studio. With the recent successes of franchises such as Resident Evil and Devil May Cry, hopes are high that Capcom can release yet another hit title.

Capcom are currently working on a new expansion for their best selling title Monster Hunter: World. The expansion is called Iceborne, and is set to release 6th September for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
