Capcom Reveal Brand New Ace Attorney Title

Scans from a recent issue of Famitsu have revealed that a Capcom is currently working on a new Ace Attorney title; Dai Gyakuten Saiban – Naruhodo Ryunnosuke no Bouken, Which translates roughly to Grand Turnabout trial – The Adventure of Naruhodou Ryuunosuke. This newest entry into the Gyakuten Saiban franchise, as the Ace Attorney series is known in Japan, also features the return on long time series director and creator Shu Takumi, who was absent from the recent Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The article reveals the fact the departs from its current Japan / Future America setting and instead takes place during Japan's Meiji period (1868-1912), starring a brand new central character.

Capcom have also recently released a Nintendo 3DS compilation of the original three Gyakuten Saiban titles that first appeared on the GameBoy Advance and were released in English on the Nintendo DS. This compilation release features the full English translations, however no Western release date has been confirmed
