Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together Releases with New Launch Trailer

Big Cheese Studio has been working on the sequel to franchise-starter Cooking Simulator. Expected to be bigger than ever, and also including cooperative play, Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together was supposed to be the replacement for the original.

The experience is finally out on Steam, as eager players have been anticipating the co-op chaos for years to come. However, its launch has left some to be desired, releasing to Mixed reviews on Steam, having 42% thumbs up from a total of 142 ratings.

For such a highly anticipated title, garnering over 10,000 Followers before its launch, it's a pretty shocking look, and the sea of red reviews is touching on buggy gameplay, stating the game was — pardon our pun — undercooked. Needing more time in the oven to fix the issues, the title has been received pretty negatively thus far, though not many players have mentioned that it has been game-specific content, which is good news, because Big Cheese Studio has time to fix the faults.

Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together brings co-op madness to the kitchen, inviting players to try out the experience while still offering an authentic restaurant experience. Use real cooking techniques, follow recipes, experiment to create your own, and manage the restaurant.

The title is available now on PC via Steam. You can pick it up for £21.99, though the 15% Introductory Offer brings the price down to £18.69 until the 14th of April 2026.
