Critically Acclaimed Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition Receives Free Online Co-op Update
2014 release Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition just received a random update after a decade of launch, inviting players to visit — or revisit — the experience. This title has players joining Shaun the Sheep and his friends Timmy and Shirley through the adventure, and it was well-received by the community, earning the prestigious Overwhelmingly Positive review tag on Steam.
As a surprise free content update, Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition has incorporated online co-op functionality. This means that several players can join in on the fun, regardless of their geographical locations.
The update allows the campaign to be fully playable online, using either Steam servers or the Remote Play Together (which is Valve's local co-op online solution). Players can now drop in and out of the experience at will, embracing puzzle-solving chaos.
That's not all, though — the Party mode will be returning soon, offering online support for players as well. Here's what Black Smoke Studios had to say about the implementation:
"Home Sheep Home has always been about bringing people together. Taking the experience online felt like the natural next step: giving players a reason to return, and new players a better way to jump in."
If you're interested in checking it out, the free update is available now, and Home Sheep Home has a huge discount, meaning players can pick it up for £1.79 until the 1st of March 2026.
