Crunchyroll Releases Second Trailer for Sekiro: No Defeat
FromSoftware's grip on the videogame industry has been pretty substantial since their highly successful soulslike titles became hits. From the epic conclusion for DARK SOULS III into the vertical parry-focused combat of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and even the open-world evolution with ELDEN RING, it's been a generational run.
Last year, we heard that FromSoftware was going to be making an anime debut, too, as the highly controversial Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice announced an anime launch. Sekiro: No Defeatis set to start sometime in 2026, bringing back the original videogame voice actors to the experience to tell the story of the game.
We saw the first trailer back in the 19th of 2025, as the official Crunchyroll YouTube channel launched the animated epic to show off what players could expect. The video received a lot of views, with viewers looking forward to some of the epic boss fights that transpire throughout the experience, such as the epic finale between Sword Saint Isshin and Sekiro.
Now, a second trailer has dropped, showing off more animations, foes, and characters that players will be able to meet. This includes foes such as Gyoubu Mastaka Oniwa, Wolf, Lady Butterfly, and Genichiro, offering a lot of looks at what fans can anticipate.
The trailer released on the 16th of March and received over a million views in its first day, earning the #20th spot in the movies Trending chat. You can check it out above if you're looking forward to the experience.
