Crysis 1 & 2 Multiplayer to Cease With Gamespy

As we reported at the start of the month, Gamespy are closing down all servers, meaning any multiplayer titles which use it for match-making would be unable to make matches.

Crytek have confirmed that May 31st will be the end of Crysis and Crysis 2 multiplayer. Crysis 2 on console and Crysis 3 will be unaffected by the shutdown, as they use other methods to let you kill your friends.

 As with any game, the Crysis and Crysis 2 multiplayer still retains a core fan base these years after release. It appears however, that there aren't enough of them to warrant a migration to another system.
