Dark Envoy Announcement Trailer Looks Like XCOM/Divinity Hybrid

On 6th August 2019, ahead of Gamescom 2019, Event Horizon released an announcement trailer for their new game, Dark Envoy for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. According to Event Horizon, the Dark Envoy  is a non-linear RPG that derived inspirations from games such as Mass Effect, Divinity, and XCOM. Although the announcement trailer does not show any gameplay yet, it does show stunning explosions and flying ships. 

Combat is expected to be turned based, much like Divinity and XCOM. What is interesting is that not can the game be played solo or coop with a friend, but there will also be a mode called Player vs World where Player 2 acts as the final boss seeking to destroy Player 1 before they become too powerful.

Dark Envoy has a release date of 2020.
