Dead Format Has a Release Date!

Developed by Katanalevy and published by Oro Interactive, Dead Format is an upcoming survival horror game where players will embody a protagonist in Scotland during the 1990s. The man's brother has gone missing after obsessing over a mysterious VHS, and it's up to him to sift through the cursed tapes to find out what could've happened.

Each video opens the door to a new world, and players will have to search for clues while facing the various nightmares that are inspired by the Silent Era Cinema and 80s body horror. Here's everything you can expect from Dead Format:

• A horror mystery narrative about finding the protagonist's missing brother.
• Three eerie VHS tapes to watch through.
• Each video opens a new world, including its own enemies, areas to explore, and puzzles.
• Go back to the apartment to save, catch your breath, or check through other tapes.
• Find various weapons and tools, all inspired by the videos.
