Dead Island:Epidemic to Die Entirely
F2P MOBA Dead Island: Epidemic, Deep Silver's entry into the MOBA market will not progress past its current open beta phase but instead will be closed down from 15th October after it failed to become the success that was hoped for.
Deep Silver announced the closure via the game's Steam Page where they stated that they were also slashing the prices of Boosts and Characters to give players the chance to try some things that they haven't in their last remaining weeks of zombie slaying.
The game was only released in November last year on Steam but it's clearly not been the success that was hoped as it's being canned in less than a year. It spells more trouble for the franchise following on from the announcement earlier in the year that Dead Island 2 was being delayed into next year.

It failed to be a success because it was horrible. Not much of a surprise really.
