Destiny 2 Raid Rewards are Improving Next Week

Destiny 2 players who enjoy the raids can look forward to a number of changes coming next week as Bungie are reworking the rewards. 

For starters raid armor is now going to be dropping with raid perks. These are designed to work on the Leviathan and create new options for players. They act much like the current mod system which, as you might have guessed, will see armor mods coming alongside this update. An example of a raid perk you can get is dealing 25% more damage with Solar abilities when on the Leviathan. These should give players a change to create builds. 

If you clear a raid encounter you will now see a raid piece always drop with clearing a prestige raid granting double drops. The raid vendor will now sell a rotating selection of raid gear much like other vendors do now. This means that even if during the raid you miss out on a drop you can still spend your tokens to pick it up afterwards. 

Lastly a new ghost shell is being added to the loot drops called the Contender's Shell which is an exotic item. The perks on this shell are designed to help players during the raids and will offer even more reward chances. This changes, along with the Iron Banner event will drop next week on 30th January. 

Destiny 2 and it's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, are available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game even has a free trial now as well.
