Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Celebrates Halloween with its Festival of the Lost Event

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep brings the series' annual "Festival of the Lost" event to the 2019 Halloween season. The Tower has been given a festive makeover, and any Guardians that wish to join in the celebrations can wear all manner of spooky or irreverent masks while they collect as much candy as possible in the limited time events and modes.

The Haunted Forest is back, a randomly generated dungeon for Guardians to take on in search of Candy and Chocolate Strange Coins. In addition to this, players can fight through a new dungeon; play Momentum, a fresh Crucible game mode; and partake in a new public event named the "Altars of Sorrow" which arrives as a permenant addition to the game.

Like the icing on this loot-filled cake, there's also a new exotic weapon: The Xenophage. To get their hands on this exotic heavy machine gun, players will have to overcome puzzles, bosses and waves of enemies in the Xenophage exotic quest.

The in-game event will run from 29th October - 19th November on all platforms.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep's "Festival of the Lost" event is available right now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
