Destiny 2's Season Of The Splicer Revealed

Guardians, prepare for the endless night as the 14th season of Destiny 2 has officially been revealed by developer Bungie, which will kick off on 11th May.  

Titled Season of the Splicer, players will have to overcome new challenges and forge new bonds with a mysterious ally in order to save the Last City from the Vex. Players will be teaming up with Mithrax, Kell of the House of Light, who will teach them the ways of a Sacred Splicer. With this new Splicer tech, the Vanguard will have to fight to take down the simulation and restore the sunlight to humanity's sanctuary. 

Elsewhere in the season, players can look forward to the return of the Vault of Glass raid from the original Destiny on 22nd May, which has seen a number of changes to improve the experience and bring it up to Destiny 2's level of quality. Armor Synthesis is also coming this season, bringing transmog to Destiny 2 for the first time. Of course, throughout the season there will be numerous missions, events, and loot to unlock.
