Development on Fractured Space to End

Developer Edge Case Games has revealed that the upcoming Infection update to Fractured Space will be its last, so that they can focus on other projects.

As part of this move, all Platinum will be stripped from the game:

Any platinum you currently have stored in your account will be converted into Credits at a rate of 550 Credits per 1 Platinum
All items that were previously sold for Platinum will now be available to purchase with Credits such as ship Skins, Legacy Episode Packs, Skin Bundles, and Credit Boosters

What's more, Steam DLC will no longer be available, unless using an unredeemed key previously purchased. The Infection Episode Pack will be available for just one credit, meaning that everyone can join in with the minimal of effort.

For the foreseeable future, Fractured Space's servers will remain online, and it is currently free to play on Steam.
