Devil May Cry 3 Switch Port Will Include Bloody Palace Co-op

The final new addition for the upcoming Switch port of Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is a Bloody Palace local co-op mode, allowing players to team up with a friend to take on the gauntlet.

In co-op, one player will control protagonist Dante, while the other will control his older twin brother Virgil. It can either be with a player handling a Joy-Con each, players using two Joy-Cons each or both players using a Pro Controller. Button configurations for the different playstyles can be altered, allowing for further flexibility in control schemes that hardcore Devil May Cry fans will appreciate.

Bloody Palace is a side mode that was originally introduced to the series in Devil May Cry 2, where players take on a back-to-back array of different floors with gradually increasing difficulties. There’s a total of 9999 floors in Devil May Cry 3’s iteration, making it a mode that only the most hardcore of players will be able to complete.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is launching on Nintendo Switch on 20th February, with an option for pre-purchase being available now.
