Devolver Digital Unveiled a New Game, Dark Scrolls! Watch the Trailer

Devolver Digital just unveiled their new project, which is a shoot-'em-up roguelike dungeon crawler with developer doinksoft, who players might recognise from Gato Roboto, Gunbrella, and Demon Throttle! Dark Scrolls challenges players to choose a hero, set off on a quest, and do their best to survive the deadly procedurally generated runs!

Every run offers more Coins, and these can be used at Bruce & Goose's Shoppe, where various new perks, attacks, and summoned allies can be bought. These will help survive the future unrelenting bosses and deadly surprises of the hand-crafted, procedurally generated runs.

Hidden secrets among the chaos will unearth new paths and locations, which means access to new heroes to rescue (which can be played)! Players can also look forward to tackling the game alone or in co-op, locally or online, which adds combined attacks and the ability to revive each other.
