DiRT Rally 2.0 Adds a Playable Tribute to Colin McRae's Career

Codemasters has announced a Game of the Year Edition for its popular (and BAFTA nominated) racing title, DiRT Rally 2.0. Releasing on 27th March for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the package will compile all four seasons of additional vehicles, locations and liveries. This means that, in total, the game will boast 81 vehicles and 26 locations in which to test them out.

On top of this, and also bundled in with the GOTY Edition, is the newly unveiled Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack. Releasing on 24th March for all platforms, this DLC pack is a send-up of Colin McRae's rally career. Featuring a new Scottish location (that spans 12 different routes); two new vehicles, the Impreza S4 Rally and SUBARU Legacy RS; and 40 challenge scenarios based on the events and hardships of Colin McRae's own career. Not only is the DLC packaged in with the GOTY Edition, but it'll also be available to download for free for any players that have purchased any full Season Pack or the Deluxe Edition of the game. Of course, owners of only the base game will still be able to access this content, it just won't be free.

Good news for Oculus users too: owners of DiRT Rally 2.0 on the Oculus platform, who until now have only had access to the base game, will receive a free upgrade to the GOTY Edition (including the Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack) when it launches.

The Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 24th March. While DiRT Rally 2.0 Game of the Year Edition, will release on 27th March for all the same platforms.
