Dragon Age: Inquisition Release Date and Gameplay Trailer
Following close behind their reveal of the official box art yesterday, Bioware has at long last announced October 7 as the official release date for Dragon Age: Inquisition in their newest gameplay trailer.
Revealing more of the game's story, the Chantry Seeker Cassandra, who drove the story of Dragon Age II and will be a companion character in Inquisition, asks the Inquisitor about an event that "massacred thousands", leaving only them alive without any explanation. The trailer also mentions a "breach" (presumably in the Veil that protects Thedas from the demon and spirit-filled Fade) that the Inquisitor and their Inquisition must now close.
The trailer also shows off new gameplay footage, and what appear to be snippets of cutscreens and dialogue scenes. Pre-ordering Dragon Age: Inquisition will also give players the Flames of the Inquisition day one DLC. Currently, players can pre-order Inquisition for the PC via Origins on the game's website, or for all platforms at GAME.
