Dragon Ball Project Fusion could be the Best Dragon Ball Game You'll Never Play

This month's V-Jump magazine had an exciting announcement for Dragon Ball Z fans as a new RPG was announced. Dragon Ball Project Fusion looks set to be one of the largest games based on the anime yet, featuring a vast quantity of characters from the Dragon Ball universe. The game features a running theme of "infinite possibilities for fusions" and players will be able to fuse with every character, giving a massive amount of possibilities. This doesn't just extend to characters. With buildings and cities and objects able to be fused, the only limit may well be your imagination.

A manga project has also been announced in Saikyou Jump most likely in relation to the upcoming game. V-jump will be holding a fusion drawing contest with the winner getting their design featured in the upcoming manga.

Dragon Ball Project Fusion 02

Dragon Ball Project Fusion will release on the Nintendo 3DS in 2016 in Japan but sadly there is no word of a western release. With the 3DS being Nintendo's first region-locked handheld, this could be a big disappointment for fans of the series.
