DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT's Season Pass 2 Receives Final Story Arc

CyberConnect2 Co. Ltd. and Bandai Namco Entertainment's DRAGON BALL Z: Kakarot was released four years ago on the 16th of January 2020, and since then, it's been extended through its Season Pass. After the end of DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT Season Pass, the second one has been ongoing since the 12th of January 2023 for £34.99. Now, the third and final DLC is the conclusion to the Dragon Ball Z saga... but is it the end of the DLC for DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT overall?

First, a bit about Goku's Next Journey — in the official BANDAI NAMCO Europe YouTube channel is the launch trailer for the sixth DLC, which will take part 10 years after the final events of the Majin Buu fight. With the new story arc, you'll be able to meet Pan — Gohan and Videl's daughter — and the mysterious Uub. You'll be able to take control of Pan as she takes part in the World Tournament, while you'll also take control of Goku to fight against Uub.

This short DLC marks the end of the DRAGON BALL Z saga, though whether there will be more DLC supporting DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT or not will have to wait for the future. As it stands, it seems that Bandai Namco has shared a lot of hints at a possible Season Pass 3, with the name of the DLC (Goku's Next Journey) and a line in the trailer:

The road to become the strongest continues on...

Whether this is all indicative of a future announcement of Season Pass 3 or not is yet to be confirmed, but fans are hopeful for a third set of DLC coming to DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT, showing a lot of love and support for the game and its DLC. Everyone is sharing their excitement for a possible GT or Super saga following the closing of the DRAGON BALL Z saga (and the appearance of Uub).

Goku's Next Journey is out now for £10.99 or £34.99 as it's included in the Season Pass 2 (and featuring the other two DLC: BARDOCK - Alone Against Fate and The 23rd World Tournament) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Legendary Edition only comes with 2 season passes, so I hope that they don't release another one, that would stop the £100 edition being so "legendary".
