Duck Side of the Moon Changes Regional Pricing After Receiving Feedback

Duck Side of the Moon Changes Regional Pricing After Receiving Feedback

It’s been a month since Duck Side of the Moon released, a cosy exploration 3D title about a duck, where players get to enjoy finding a home and meeting various characters. In a recent Steam post, Starbrew Games — the developer and publisher — announced that they had tweaked regional pricing after they received some feedback about it!

The team mentions that they hadn’t been able to change it due to Steam’s pricing cooldowns, but they addressed it as soon as they were able to, stating:

“Steam’s pricing cooldowns meant we couldn’t make these changes immediately, but we’re glad to have them in place now and hope this helps make the game more accessible to players around the world!”

In total, there were 21 regions tweaked:

  • Brazilian Real
  • Chilean Peso
  • Chinese Yuan
  • Colombian Peso
  • Costa Rican Colón
  • Hong Kong Dollar
  • Indian Rupee
  • Indonesian Rupiah
  • Kazakhstani Tenge
  • Malaysian Ringgit
  • Mexican Peso
  • New Taiwan Dollar
  • Peruvian Sol
  • Philippine Peso
  • Qatari Riyal
  • Saudi Riyal
  • Singapore Dollar
  • South African Rand
  • Thai Baht
  • Ukrainian Hryvnia
  • Vietnamese Dong

The team urges the community to offer more feedback if they find theirs needs some fixing, too! Don’t know why regional pricing is such a big deal? We’ve got an article that explains it!

To close the post off, Starbrew Games teased that they’ve been hard at work with an upcoming surprise! We’ll keep an eye on it and cover it, but you can make sure not to miss out by wishlisting and following Duck Side of the Moon on Steam.

As a last note, I’d like to thank Starbrew Games for listening to the feedback from someone from Colombia! Thank you for seeing us.
