Developed and published by Funcom, Dune: Awakening is a new survival craft MMORPG set in the titular universe. In it, players can expect social hubs, server-wide politics, and a cinematic narrative that follows a unique but familiar take on the original story.

Begin as a prisoner sent to Arrakis in hopes of uncovering the mystery of Fremen's disappearance and explore the most dangerous planet in the universe. But you won't have to do it alone!

Here's what you can expect from Dune: Awakening:

• A survival craft MMO experience, with optional PvP.
• Group up and play with others, by joining a guild orfinding friends, or justplay alone and experience the game solo without a problem.
• Server-wide Landsraad, who decrees whether Atreides or Harkonnen rule.
• Build up a reputation with your Great House to gain access to unique faction rewards, ranging from equipment and vehicles to building pieces.
• Battle versus others to gain control of the Deep Desert's spice.
• A new take on the original story.

• Survival features, such as needing shade to escape the scorch of the sun and water to stay hydrated.
• Explore by gliding, climbing, and riding the iconic Dune tech, like the ornithopters.
• Visit many places, like Arrakeen and Harko Village.

• Every week, the Coriolis storms will reshape the Deep Desert, and players will have to race to discover new locations, rewards, and dangers.
• Various weapons, technologies, abilities, and vehicles to use in combat.
• Master the Great Schools of the Imperium: Bene Gesserit, Trooper, Mentat, Swordmaster, and Planetologist.
• Stand out through customisation: transmog systems, Fremen stillsuits, Harkonnen ornithopters, furniture, and swatches will all help.
• Build up a home, whether it's a temporary camp or an impenetrable fortress.
