Dying Light owners are getting an upgrade

Dying Light owners are getting an upgrade

A tweet from the Dying Light game account has announced that the 1.49 patch, the final update of the game, will allow owners of the Standard Edition to upgrade to Enhanced Edition at no additional cost. That means getting a ton of DLC for free. This includes The Following, an expansion to the game which includes a new story, new map, and vehicles.

Players will also receive the Bozak Horde, Crash Test Skin Pack. Ultimate Survivor Bundle. and Cuisine & Cargo DLCs. To download all of these goodies, just launch the game and choose “DLC Packs” from the menu.

This patch will also include a number of fixes and tweaks for the Hellraid DLC such as a reworked armory and new Crystal consumables that offer unique buffs. There have also been improvements to the Be the Zombie PvP mode, getting one more balancing patch.

Dying Light also has one last pack you can buy: The Dieselpunk DLC. This includes a chainsaw, an SMG, a sawblade, a new outfit and a skin for the buggy only for £2 on Steam.

Dying Light was met with generally positive reviews, and has since been getting updates and events since its initial release. Good to see that a game like this is getting one last hurrah before development and support officially ceases. The game is currently on sale, so why not pick up a copy?
