Elite Dangerous: Horizons Gets A Date On Xbox One
Xbox One owners have been eagerly awaiting news on when Elite Dangerous: Horizons would arrive on their console ever since the PC release back in December.
Finally we have confirmation that Xbox One owners will finally be able to touch down on those pesky planets soon via this official trailer, along with a somewhat vague but soon time-frame of Q2 2016.
Frontier also confirmed that the console release of Horizons will launch featuring both the Planetary Landings and the upcoming patch 2.1: The Engineers content. With the rest of the Elite Dangerous: Horizons season features to follow alongside their PC brethren.

At least they're waiting for the update, to launch.
Though it WAS delayed for apparently no reason...

Yeah, having parity with the PC release going forward is a positive at least.
The radio silence and then vague comments about if it was coming at all were a big misstep but at least it's on its way to console now.
I just feel sorry for the Mac backers who are totally out of luck with Horizons.

Q2 means the cut of would be june? so end of may mid june? I just wish they would give us a little more info on a time frame for it instead of just saying this q2...

I imagine it'll coincide with the 2.1 PC launch so probably early June. I agree that Frontier could definitely do with being a little more transparent. Lots of caveats and hand-waving whenever they mention anything! :D
