Eterspire Celebrates Leaving Early Access with the New Big Fishing Update!

During this year's Latin America Games Showcase (or LAGS for short), Stonehollow Workshop announced that their free-to-play MMO Eterspire was leaving Early Access. Alongside this, the new major update that rehauls fishing is here!

Without further ado, here's everything you can expect from the newest update in Eterspire.

Let's begin with what everyone's so excited about — fishing! Now, players can expect a new catch every five levels. Additionally, there are specialised tools, new fishing spots, and cosmetics to unlock as a reward for reaching mastery levels!

The Fishing Guild is here, and it can be accessed at level 55 for Infinite players. In it, players will find high-level fishing spots and vendors! It can be found by talking to Charles at the Fishing Pier.

Here's a look at everything to do with fishing:

• 10 new fishing tools, which are tied to different areas in Aetera, including desert and volcanic lands.
• Bait is no longer required.
• Players will earn combat experience while fishing.
• Fish can be exchanged for Fish-Sticks — a new currency that can buy tools, shards, and cosmetics.
• The Fishing Pier map received a visual update.
• The Fishing Guild is available now; it can be accessed at fishing level 55 for Infinite players.
• Fishing for Compliments has been updated to offer fishing experience as a reward and serve as a better tutorial.
• A new quest: Piranha River Cookout; it can begin by talking to Elvis Pelvis in Bogtown.

While that's all for fishing (and it's quite a bit!), the team isn't done with surprises. That was all the information added, but make sure to keep an eye out for more!

That's not all for the update: The Fire Mage's Set is available in the in-game store now, and it is fully purchaseable, meaning it won't be in a lootbox. If you're wondering about what's happened with Guilds, they are scheduled to release on the 29th of June, in the next update.
