Everything New in PEAK's New Update, The Roots!

Developed by Team PEAK and published by Aggro Crab and Landfall, PEAK is a new co-op game where players can set off through nature alone or with friends in hopes of being rescued.

Players will scale a mountain and help each other up ledges, put down ropes for easier access, and explore the various biomes. But it's not all fun and games — there are life-threatening dangers along the way!

Before we move on, a quick reminder to players that there's a Bug-Phobia Mode in the options!

In the latest major content update, a new biome became available: a redwood forest brimming with mushrooms and creepy crawlies. ROOTS will replace the TROPICS, and it will be available until the 17th of November; after this, it will be added to the rotation.

Here's all that you can expect from the new ROOTS biome in PEAK:

• A new biome, which is full of mushrooms and bugs.
• New tools are available in the luggage, such as the Rescue Claw and the Checkpoint Flag.
• 11 new badges to collect.
• More cosmetics to unlock.
• Shroomberries, with different coloured berries that give an effect.
• Fungi to collect.
• Eight new emotes.
• Some new secret things the developers added!
• Cooking got an overhaul: non-food items will do something when cooked, cooking bandages will no longer grant Stamina, and poison berries will be safe when cooked.
