Everything You Need to Know About The Outer Worlds' Switch Release

Obsidian's latest action RPG, The Outer Worlds, has already swept PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC players away on a planet-hopping, anti-corporate adventure with plenty of mysteries, unusual characters and—of course—violence. Now, the long awaited Switch version of the game, ported by Virtuous Studios, has finally been given a release date of 5th June 2020. 

Although available both physically and digitally, The Outer Worlds is yet another instance in which the physical cartridge will require a mandatory 'day one' patch (approximately 6GB in size). It's not all bad news though, as long as you have the space to spare: the patch will include improved textures while also improving the performance; various bugs will also be addressed.

When it launches for Switch on 5th June, The Outer Worlds will retail at £49.99.
